Attorney & Founder
Yelena Shimonova Sher
Yelena is a skillful attorney with several years of experience serving hundreds of injured victims in Arizona. She gained much of this experience working for a large, local personal injury firm negotiating and litigating various types of personal injury claims.
Yelena obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and went on to hold a Juris Doctorate degree from Arizona Summit School of Law. She is licensed in Arizona and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court in Arizona. Her background in science makes Yelena an effective partner in reviewing medical reports that are integral to her client's cases.
While attending law school, Yelena focused her studies on Alternative Dispute Resolution and became a certified mediator. She also worked as an extern at the Never Again Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides legal support to families who have lost loved ones to domestic violence. Upon graduation, she received a community service certificate recognizing her pro bono and community service involvement during law school.
Yelena was born in Uzbekistan and emigrated to the United States at the age of two. Yelena's parents wanted to ensure she had the opportunities they weren't afforded. Watching her family strive to build a life in America helped provide her with the tools and values of hard work and dedication to obtain an education.
Brought up in an entrepreneurial environment, Yelena decided to launch Sher Law Group which gives her the opportunity to offer her clients individualized attention and commitment to optimum results. Through the Sher Law Group Yelena's goal is to positively affect the lives of all the clients she has the good fortune to represent.
During her free time Yelena enjoys spending time with her family, husband Ben, daughter Lilly and their puppy Teddy.
